Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
So, um, is there maintenance involved with air suspension kits? U, absolutely. Uh, I think that whenever you install any kind of aftermarket modifications to your vehicle, you always want to pamper it. You know, you always want to make sure you're doing your uh your routine maintenance on it. Um, with the air suspension, you it's not that complex and it's not going to be that often, but at least every time you do an oil change, which is usually about between 3 to 6 months, you want to just take a look at your your components, your bags, your your shocks, your airlines, um your you know, draining your tank of water because usually the tank usually collects water from moisture because it collects air. Correct. So air can then convert to water or moisture when there's a difference in in in temperature. So with that being said, yes, you definitely want to do that on a routine basis, usually 3 to six months, but it's nothing different than another car where you do tire rotations or you do oil changes or you do um uh maybe waxing your car or something like that. So, um, we we definitely do, um, have actual inspections that we can also provide for you, um, as a as a shop. So, it's it's not um, it's not rocket science, but it we can definitely provide that as well, just to do free inspections.
Paul Cotaco affirmed that air suspension kits require maintenance, similar to other aftermarket modifications. They suggested that owners routinely inspect components such as bags, shocks, airlines, and drain the air tank of collected moisture every 3 to 6 months, typically coinciding with oil changes. Paul Cotaco noted that while this maintenance is not overly complex, their shop offers free inspections to assist customers.
